The Rode NTG1 Shotgun Microphone is a shotgun microphone specially designed for capturing sound in film, television and voice-overs. Despite its robust design, the microphone is remarkably light, making it ideal for use with a video camera. The NTG1 features a Super Cardioid polar pattern and has a built-in high-pass filter (80 Hz, 12 dB/octave). With a dynamic range of 121 dB and a power supply of 24 to 48 V (phantom power required), the microphone weighs only 105 grams.
