This adapter is designed to send a better audio signal than the internal mic input to the camera thanks to the built-in digital audio interface. It also comes with a multi-directional shotgun microphone and a windscreen. The adapter has a few settings that can be adjusted via the adapter such as: recording level (AUTO/MANUAL), recording level link (INPUT 1-INPUT 2), attenuator and low-cut filter controls (100/300 Hz). There are two XLR/TRS connectors that are also suitable for phantom power and a stereo mini plug (3.5 mm) with an external power connection for a microphone. The set weighs approximately 187g.
