De Nikon D850 DSLR Camera is een spiegelreflexcamera met full frame sensor die je fotografie naar een nieuw niveau tilt. Deze camera biedt de perfecte combinatie van resolutie, snelheid en lichtgevoeligheid. Hij is uitgerust met een 45.7 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor zonder low-pass filter en een EXPEED 5 beeldprocessor. Dit zorgt voor exceptionele scherpte en een uitzonderlijk dynamisch bereik dat reikt van ISO 64 tot ISO 25.600. De maximale resolutie is 8256 x 5504. De sensorafmeting is 35.9 x 23.9 mm.
De D850 is uitgerust met hetzelfde geavanceerde 153-punts autofocussysteem als in de D5. Daarmee kun je elk onderwerp of elke beweging moeiteloos volgen. Bij het filmen kan de hele sensor breedte worden benut in 4K UHD kwaliteit. Je kan ook timelapses maken in 4k. Met een externe software kan dit zelfs geupgrade worden naar 8K resolutie. Audio kan worden opgenomen met de ingebouwde stereomicrofoon of een optionele externe microfoon kan worden gebruikt via de 3,5 mm stereo-aansluiting.De D850 bevat een SD/SDHC/SDXC (UHS-II) slot en een CFexpress Type B / XQD slot. De afmeting is 146 x 124 x 78.5 mm en het gewicht is 915 g.
